Silver's Parents

In the future Silver hails from, things are starting to get back to normal and will get there fast with the time traveling hero latest mission. A flash of light appeared and Silver started making his way to see his master, when he got there his master spoke "Did you finish it"

"Yes master, I have stopped Shadow's evil reign, it now has never happened"

"Good, now I have another mission for you"

"Already" the white hedgehog complained

"Yes, but this is your last one"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you know anything about your parents?"

The question shocked the young hedgehog "No I don't know anything about them only a lullaby, maybe"

"Let me tell you about them"

Silver sat down eager to know anything about his parents

"Your father was a very powerful hedgehog that was confused in his early life, until he met your mother, your mother was able to get him to show a different side of him, after many years they fell in love and had you, but there happiness was short lived. Your father's enemies did not like the idea of him having a child, so the were sent out to destroy you and your parents. Your father defeated them, but one enemy was still alive and killed your mother, your father was crushed for loosing another one he has loved.

His next move was to get revenge, in order to protect you he sent you to our future. Then your father hunted down his enemy, but was captured by Eggman. Eggman then transformed your father into a killing machine, thus your father is the one who destroyed this future."

Silver was in shock, he could not believe his father destroyed the future, but was not his fault. "What does this have to do with my mission" Silver asked

"Because Eggman from the new past is sending a robot more powerful than your father to handle after your mother. Your job is to destroy the robot and not be seen by anyone in the new past, for they have never met you"

"But why is this my last mission"

"The robot is sent a day before you are born, so when the robot is destroyed just stay in the past until you are born, when you are born you will disappear into the new timeline"

"Alright I'll go"

"But first you need to know who your parents are"

Silver's master took out a photo out of his pocket and handed it to Silver, Silver was shocked at who his dad was.

"My dad is Shadow the Hedgehog!"

"I know your confused, but if you look at your mother you can see the resemblance"

Silver mother was Amy Rose, a young hedgehog who he saw when he had to help defeat Scourge.

"Okay, anything else?"

"Nope it's time for you to go"  

Silver then took the time stone and yelled "CHOAS CONTROL!" and disappeared to the new past.


*Present*

Our hero Sonic the hedgehog was sitting on the couch bored out of his mind, he could over hear the conversation his fiance Sally Acorn was having with who knows who. Sonic then yawned a little loudly getting Sally's attention.

"If your bored you can go for a run"

"But I don't want to" Sonic said in childish tone

"hey I know, just now N.I.C.O.H.E.L has just learn that a house outside of the city has blown up, why don't you look into it"

"Really you let me go thanks Sally"

Sonic then jump off the couch and ran right out the door. When he got to the sight he saw a house blown to smithereens, but there was just a house no furniture lied in the rubble. As Sonic walked around he did not know someone was watching him, whoever he was he blended perfectly with the shadows. Sonic was about to go home due to nothing that he could do here when suddenly the figured tackled him and pined him to the ground.

"Let me go!" yelled Sonic, because it was almost dark both could not tell who they were.

"Who are you" said the figured, his voice was ice cold with a hint of rage in it. "My name is Sonic the hedgehog" Sonic told him.

"Sonic?"

Sonic looked up in in the light of the moon he saw who his attacker was, it was Shadow the hedgehog.

Sonic was bit surprised to see his old rival here after all these years, Shadow himself has changed a little his quills were longer and now he wears cloths, it looks like a military uniform.

"What are you doing here Shadow?"

"This is my house, or was"

"You live here"

"Well not yet this was the new house me and my wife were moving into"

Hold on a second Shadow is married! "Speaking of my wife I need to find her, she was here when I left" Shadow and Sonic search but there was no sign of anyone here until.

"Shadow is that you?" A dainty voice called out, they turned there heads towards the voice, Sonic couldn't see who it was but Shadow knew "Amy!" he called and sprinted towards her to embrace her. Sonic was left with a shocked expression Shadow had married Amy Rose.

"Sonic is that you?" Amy asked finally taking notice of him " Oh Sonic I haven't seen you in years come give me a hug" Sonic shrugged of the fact who she was married to and ran to hug his old friend, but when he got close he saw Amy was pregnant! Sonic let out a shreek and skidded and fell on his back. "Sonic are you okay"

"Yeah it's just your....."

"With Shadow's child" Amy finished his sentence "Does that bother you?"asked a now enrage hedgehog.

"No, its just I never thought you two would be together, you guys really take the saying 'opposites attract' don't you" Amy let out a little giggle while Shadow just stared at him, he knew something was bothering Sonic but he didn't know what. While the trio talked amongst themselves, they didn't know they were being watched. In the brush of a tree Silver was watching them closely.

Silver came by early to check on them, but when his father left to get something for Amy, Silver was on more alert for the robot, if it wasn't for him luring his mother away from the house the robot would have bombed both the house and Amy.

Silver just kept watching until he heard the robot coming straight towards the trio! Shadow heard the robot land and got in front of Amy to protect her.

The robot looked like Metal Sonic but with huge modifications, the robot scanned the three hedgehogs, when he scanned Amy his eyes lit up green "TARGET ACQUIRED" and he went straight towards Amy.

"Move!" yelled Sonic as he spin dashed the robot, knocking it aways from them "Amy get out of here its not safe" Shadow told her, Amy nodded and ran into the forest. Shadow turn towards the robot ready to destroy it, Sonic then came to his side.

"Chaos spear!" Shadow yelled while fireing them towards the robot, when the smoke cleared the robot was not evan damaged. The two hedgehog kept attack but with no luck trying to destroy it. Silver watch as his father and friend slowly loosing to the robot, then Silver caught a glimpse of a weak spot in the robot. The robot's back power panel is open, if Silver threw a rock at it, the blow would temporally switch off the robot.

Silver picked up a rock with his power, took aim, and threw the rock, direct hit. The robot went right into standby mode, Sonic and Shadow took it as a chance to escape, they ran into the forest found Amy and ran off closely followed by Silver, after awhile the trio found a small cave, they decided to stay there.

After of ten minutes of silence Sonic decided to break it.

"So do you two know who sent the robot?"

"No"Amy said

"Oh okay.....I have a question for you guys, if you got married why didn't you invite me Amy?"

"Shadow and I wanted to keep the marriage a secret to world, so Shadow's enemies won't use me against him, and you being with Sally you two would have brought too much attention"

"That makes sense"

After another hour Sonic notice the fire was dying so he decided to get some more.

"I'm going to get some more fire wood' I'll be back"  

With that said Sonic zipped out of the cave, and left the couple alone.
"He's gotten slower"

"I know"

Amy came a bit closer to her husband, snuggling up to him " Do you think the robot is after me cause of the baby?"

"Maybe"

"Shadow I'm scared, you had no chance against that robot evan Sonic, I don't want ether of you to get hurt if you did i couldn-" Shadow silenced her by placing his finger on her mouth "Everything will be okay" Amy looked right into his ruby eyes and trusted him, Shadow started to hum a lullaby to Amy. In the trees outside a certain white hedgehog heard the lullaby 'I remember now'

Flashback

A younger Silver was in a crib looking up at two silhouettes, that came into focus, they were Amy and Shadow. They both looked down smiling at him, all of a sudden dread filled there faces, Shadow reached down and grabbed the the young hedgehog, grabbed Amy hand and started running. They were running from something then BANG.

Reality

Half an hour later Amy was asleep and Sonic came back.

"I'm back"

"Shhh she sleeping"

"Oh sorry"

For a couple of minuets the two hedgehogs said nothing, Sonic was feeling a little awkward and decided to asked Shadow a question that has been on his mind for awhile.

"Shadow don't get mad for me asking but how did you and Amy get together?"

"When peace came I was bored at G.U.N and decided to leave them, course they didn't like it at all and threaten to make me regret ever leaving them, after wandering around I bumped into Amy, I explained myself to her and she offered a place to stay at her house, after three years staying with her I asked her the question and she said yes, we had our small wedding and now having our first child"

"Oh well I'm very happy for you"

Shadow just rolled his eyes and the two hedgehogs went to sleep, outside in the trees Silver was trying his best to stay awake. Back were the robot was, it was ready to complete its mission.

When mourning came Silver was waking up then heard something "No" The robot came back and was heading straight for the cave. Silver threw a boulder at it, the noise was enough to wake the other, Sonic and Shadow came out followed by Amy.

"Looks like its round two" Sonic said and charged at the robot. Sonic and Shadow countine to deliver blows to the robot, but like last time it wasn't doing much damage. The robot swung its arm at Sonic and threw him into the wall outside of the cave, Amy ran to the hedgehogs aid and saw he was only knocked out. Then suddenly a pain came over Amy.

Amy looked to see if the robot hurt her, but it was fighting Shadow. Amy now realized what happen, the baby was coming "Ah!" Amy shirked. Shadow who was fighting the robot heard his wife shriek he turned to see if she was okay, but when he was distracted the robot slashed at Shadow's eye. Shadow screamed in pain and clutched his eye, the robot was now making his way to Amy to finish her off.

Silver had enough, not caring if he is seen, unleashed his powers on the robot, getting him in his vice-grip he pulled the robot apart. Shadow saw what just happened and turned around to see who was there, no one was there. Sonic finally came too.

"What happened"

"Sonic don't just lie there, and get Amy to a hospital!"

"Why?"

"The baby coming" Amy said as she clutched her abdomen, Sonic scooped up Amy and made a run for it, but wasn't followed by Shadow. Shadow took his hand off of his eye and muttered "Chaos Control" and his eye healed, but was left with four scar marks across his left eye. Shadow then started searching for who ever saved them. Silver was hiding behind a tree breathing heavily, because he knew his father was looking for him. Silver reached into his quills and pulled out a watch 'Only five more minutes' until he was born.

"If you don't want to get caught you should not breath so hard"

"AHHHHHH" Silver jumped, turned around and saw his father Shadow. "So did you help us?" Silver sighed he knew he was caught, it wouldn't hurt to revel a little.

"Yes"

"Thank you"
"Your welcome"

"You look familiar, do I know you" Silver watch beeped signaling he only had a minute left

"Not yet, oh and one thing name me Silver, I know I'm not the color but it will work and give me a good middle name" Silver told Shadow as he disappered into the new timeline, Shadow just stood there wondering what just happened, no time to think about that. His wife was having his baby "Chaos Control"

Shadow arrived at the hospital and was making his way the the room Amy was in, he knocked on the door and came in. Shadow saw Sonic in a chair passed out and Amy in the bed with a bundle wrapped in a blue blanket "Shadow your eye, are you okay" Amy asked him.

"I'm fine, what about you and Sonic"

"Well Sonic passed out during the delivery, he didn't want to come, but all the doctors thought he was the father"

"Did you tell them he isn't?"

"Yes I did, do you want to see your son?"

Shadow nodded and Amy pulled down the blanket, Shadow was shocked at what he saw, his son was the hedgehog who saved them. He had the same white fur, five pointed quills on his forehead, and a patch on white chest fur' He must have come from the future to save us' Shadow thought.

"What should we name him?" Amy asked

"Silver"

"I like it, Silver"

"Silver Robert Rose" Shadow said, Amy was happy with there baby boys name.

"You may have missed your first child's birth, but you won't miss the next"

"What do you mean Amy?" Shadow asked confused, Amy only giggled.
